Yet another learning Spanish anecdote today.
Blissfully unaware, I have been saying “mis mujeres” when referring to my wife. That is until the instructor recently asked me: “Leon, just how many wives do you have?”
Mis mujeres translates as my women, not my wives. Technically I should refer to “mi esposa”, but I hear “mi mujer” often.
Anyway, for the curious, the answer is one. I have only one wife.
